The Pyramid of the Moon in Teotihuacan, Mexico

The Pyramid of the Moon was our next stop while Exploring Teotihuacan...

According to This Website:
The Pyramid of the Moon, at the northern end of the Street of the Dead, was probably completed around 250 A.D. Recent excavations near the base of the pyramid staircase have uncovered the tomb of a male skeleton with numerous grave goods of obsidian and greenstone, as well as sacrificial animals. One of the most significant tombs yet discovered at Teotihuacan, it might indicate that even more important tombs lie buried at the heart of the pyramid.

This is a mural we found on the side of a small pyramid on the way to the Pyramid of the Moon!

And once again, Pop Pop gets stopped...
and did he buy??
No Gracias!

Look how strong they are...
They can hold up the Pyramid of the Moon!
Wow!

Well, this climb was shorter, but... Still difficult!
These steps were more narrow!

But we made it!

This is the view from the Pyramid of the Moon. You can see the Pyramid of the Sun in the background.

The road that connects all of the pyramids, altars, and statues is called the Avenue of the Dead!
It really has a ring to it, doesn't it?

Here I am with the Kids and my Dad on the top of the Pyramid of the Moon!
It was a GREAT day!
We saw lots more great things, but that's all for this post!
