Thanksgiving this year was rough without Detto....
It is really difficult for me to even "feel" like decorating or celebrating without him here.
I am glad that all of my family came over to my house this year for Thanksgiving. It made my house feel full and happy. It was really a great distraction.
Reilly and I picked this broccoli out of my garden!

here are Alyssa and Kirin eating the broccoli!

My 21 lb. Turkey! That thing was Heavy!
It turned out GREAT!!

Here are the girls. The only cousin's missing are Stephen & Anaia!

Abby snacking on something!

Yummy Food!

After dinner everyone went outside to play!

Abby wanted to play with the exercise ball.

Abby and Reilly in Jason's Lap!
I was shocked when Abby walked right up to him and wanted to climb in his lap!
Silly girl, she's too young to know better. Hee hee hee!

My Mom & Dad with Ishana!

This was so cute. Abby wanted a hug and kiss, but Reilly didnt. Abby kept trying and Reilly was turning her head away. It was hillarious!

Alyssa and Kirin playing Piano! I love those girls!

I am so blessed to have so many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Friday night we went to Marge's house to see the "Mongiovi" side of the family, but I forgot my camera. I was really hoping to get some good pictures of the kids. They are all getting sooooo big!
I even put new batteries in my camera and then left it on the counter!
I am so blessed that this Thanksgiving there was no drama or problems of ANY kind!
Everything went smooth!
I just really wish Detto could have been here. I really really really really really miss him!
Hopefully the time will fly and he will be home soon.
I wish he were coming home tomorrow.

Starting the Holiday's off right....

Before the "Mass Consumption" began, aka Thanksgiving, we went to see Papa C to show him how thankful we are that he is still around!

Mom & Aunt Jane & Pop

Stephen got to talk to Detto for almost an hour.

Pop didn't want to finish his dinner, but he ate the entire cannoli and a piece of apple pie.

This is Ann-Marie she is 94yrs old and used to teach piano. She loves to play!

My Mom's side of the family are so crazy. It was so much fun hanging out.
When I say crazy I mean that as a compliment. Let me explain, we went to visit my grandfather at his assisted living home. There are aproximately 5 other residents living there full time. Well, my mom thought it would be a great idea to bring nerf toys! It was a GREAT idea!

Let me just say, this man can throw!!

look at the these crazy people...

We had a blast!
It was a very Happy "day before" Thanksgiving!
I cant wait to see what they do for Christmas!!

Who is getting what for Christmas??

Ok, Here is a preview of some of the Quilts that will be leaving my home this year.

I wont tell which ones are being donated to a good cause and which ones are Christmas gifts.
I didnt put a few on here just because I knew they would be a dead giveaway to who the intended recipient is!
This quilt is a lap quilt size.

This black, white, and blue quilt is a little bigger!

This red, gray and black quilt is almost a bed size.

This is a great kids twin size quilt.

I love the way this space quilt turned out!

And this is lots of scrappy fun with tons of little half square triangles around the whole thing. I hope one little girl loves it as much as I do.

This one is very fresh and fuzzy!

Here is a picture of a quilt that is in progress right now.
This quilt is being worked on as a leaders and enders project. I love how quick its turning out!
I love it how scrappy it is.

My Detto Surprise!

I was shocked this week when I checked the mail....

there was a HUGE box and guess what was in it???

It is even Blue - My favorite color!!

So, I decided to make some Cinnamon Rolls to try it out!

It whipped up the dough like it was NOTHING!

Sissy decided to pull out the camera....

These things turned out "slap your Momma" good! Wowzers! I made some yummy brown sugar icing and that is all she wrote!!

I also made some HEAVENLY Garlic Herb Baguettes, but they didn't last long enough for any pictures!
I will take pictures next time I make them!

Thank You Detto for my new mixer!! I LOVE IT!
The next day some mixer attatchments came in the mail!! I can't wait to try those out too!!
