Touring the Presidential Palace, Mexico City Part 2

As we continued to tour the Presidential Palace we were amazed at how much of the Aztecs lives had been captured in art.

These people were amazing!

They knew how to do so much and yet the early explorers treated them as if they were ignorant.

Diseases, sicknesses, slavery, and lots of pain and suffering were brought into the land by the Spanish Explorers.

These paintings tell an awful story.
Then we went into see where the government was formed and where they used to meet.

This ceiling was amazing!

Look Jessica was there too!

We were really enjoying my selfie stick!

This was in the center of the ceiling.

The original door was MASSIVE!

I love seeing history up close!

Hugs,
Lisa
