Hawaiian Luau

After a fun day in the sun we were ready for our Hawaiian Luau!!

Detto was ready to surf!!

They had tons of local island foods like Fire Roasted Pig!

They had some authentic Hawaiian guys!! Detto is so cute!
Lisa and I had to get our picture too!

There was music playing on a stage inside! I
t reminded me of Elvis's Blue Hawaii!

I could not believe our view!

The food was really interesting!
It wasn't great, but it was probably because I'm not used to it.

We listened to the entertainment and watched the sunset!

I could not believe that this was our view from the party!

The authentic hula was really cool!
I will post more pictures of the Hula dancers!

Here fishy, fishy, fishy ~ Hanauma Bay, HI

So many Sea Urchins and bright purple coral!

The fish really were amazing swimming around the coral.

This guy with is little snub nose was really cute!

More Coral!

These were so vibrant yellow.
There were a bunch of these, they were just hard to photograph because they were so fast!

So cute!

This is hard to tell, but this guy was bright blue with a yellow tail.

In the upper right corner is actually a fish.It looked like a stick or piece of grass floating in the water until he started swimming.
So cool!

This shows what kept happening as the tides changed. We would be swimming along and then the tide would drop and we would be skimming the coral.
It was very stressful in some spots!

The fish didn't seem to have any problems though.

The black fish is actually a spotted fish that looked like a blow fish.

This fish looked like he had a parrots mouth.

Another attempt to get his picture. He was a little camera shy.

Not this guy. He wanted his glamour shots taken. So pretty.
This snorkeling trip was one of my favorite parts of our trip to Hawaii.
I was amazed at all of the different fish that we saw.
They were so beautiful and it was cool seeing them in their natural habitat.
We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to have experienced this.

More Snorkeling in Hanauma Bay, HI

The water was sooooo cold! I could only swim for about an hour at a time before I had to get out and warm up.

Here I am!!

Trying to take a selfie while facing the sun is not the best idea! LOL

Look at the fishy...

This guy was really colorful, but it's hard to see in this picture.

There were a TON of these guys!

Such amazing colors!

More Live Coral!

Its hard to see all of the fish in this picture, but you can see the yellow striped one at the bottom.

Look close in the middle for the black and white spotted fish.

If you look at the middle towards the bottom there is a BLOWFISH in this one!
They blend in so well it's hard to see them in the picture!

Another picture of the blow fish, see if you can find him!

This little black fish followed us around for a while!

Live coral and TONS of Sea Urchins.

Lots of fishies!!

and some more colorful ones!
These guys were all so pretty and actually not as hard to spot as they seem in the pictures.
It is really hard to zoom in and focus while swimming, following fish, and wearing a mask.
Sorry if they are not as clear as a professional.. LOL
I sure had fun capturing them.
More to come soon.

Snorkeling in Hanauma Bay State Park

This place was sooooo pretty!
Very relaxing! The breezes in Hawaii are amazing!

I am so blessed to be married to this man!

We laid here on the beach in between snorkeling in the crazy blue water of Hawaii! WOW!

So cute! He's ready to go!

We saw so many fish!

The red is LIVE coral!
So much of the coral here was damaged by people touching it. :(

See the fishes...

They were so pretty!

This is a HUGE piece of coral. There was no way for me to get a picture that showed it true size. It was about 3 ft around.

All of the pink/red is more live coral!

There were Sea Urchins EVERYWHERE!!YIKES!!

Look...Is that a Merman?

This fish was swimming under Detto. He kept following him around! It was so cool to watch!

Such amazing colors!
I will post more soon!
So many pictures to go through!!
