Round Robin Process

This Round Robin center block has been REALLY TOUGH!!
I dont know why, but my fabric keeps bubbling. Its not laying flat. I used stablizer and interfacing.... Huh?? Lisa said my top tension was too tight, but when I put it from 2 to 1 it did the same thing.... Oh well. I have to mail this out by Friday so I need to get it finished.
Here is my Round Robin up to this point....

I need to add a border, but I cant decide which fabric to use.
I love them all so much!
Also, I want it to be easy for the other quilters to add a matching border! Hhhhhhhuuuuuummmmmmm!

Here are some close ups of each of the fabrics, what do you think?

1. Green                  2. Floral Pinky
3. Peachy stripes 4. Dark Pink

Can you tell I love PINK??
I really need some feedback! So thanks in advance for your help!

Process Pledge Update!

This is my Process Pledge update! I'm not sure who cares, but here goes anyways!
This is Lisa and I cutting blocks for a Pinwheel Quilt-A-Long found here!
We cut our blocks, now we will do our own Quilt-A-Long!
Here are the blue and white star blocks that I recieved for my May and June Block Swaps!
Here is what I'm working on today... This is a mini-quilt that am going to quilt TODAY!!! I made the backing out of scrappy fabric (I forgot to take a picture of the backing). I am going to sandwich this, pin it, and quilt it tonight! This will be a quilt for me to sell at the Ocala Womens Convention on the 26th!
Also... I have to finish sewing this top together. I am not sure if I should do a solid back or scrappy??

Here is my International Round Robin Block that I am making. I cut out and fused all of this, now I just need to finish applique'ing it to the background fabric!! I LOVE IT! I was supposed to have this send out by the 10th oops! I sent an email saying that I was running behind! I think I am going to add a border to this once it is finished to make it bigger. The bigger your starting block the bigger the finished project and I want this quilt to be HUGE!!

This is another block that I got in the mail this week from my Boomerang Swap! I love it!

So that is my process update for now!
Today I plan on getting LOTS of sewing done. I cant leave the house. Alyssa and Stephen have been hackin' it up all day and night. Ugh. I might have to run to Publix for more Gatoraid and crackers!
Pray for them!

Sewing Projects & Miserable Missouri!!

I have a list going of what projects I'm working on!! My bestie Lisa has me signing up for everything that comes along!! Thanks Lisa :P   I am mid-block on several projects....
Here is some of the stuff that I'm currently working on!! This is a Charity Quilt that Lisa and I made together last year! I had lots of the church members sign it and now I am sending it to Lisa's Pastor who is taking it on a Missions Trip and giving it to a Church in Russia!!

These are some blocks that I got in the mail for the Round Robin! I need to make blocks to compliment and go with these!! And then... I will send all of that to the next quilter who will add a border and off to the next quilter.... and on and on and on!! Isn't that fun??

I went and visited Detto this weekend! I HATE being away from him!! We only have 16 more days till he graduates!! YEAH!! Its snowing again in Missouri... It snowed the morning I left!! It was nice seeing him. We got the whole weekend together!! I flew up on Friday and left on Monday!! Nice LONG weekend!
Can you see the snow?
The landscape was bleak!! I'm sure it's pretty in the Summer though!
Some of the locals call Fort Leonard Wood - Fort Lost in the Woods!! There wasn't even a Wal-Mart there! Now that's pretty desolate!!
This jeep was in the airport!
I liked stepping off the plane in Florida! It was a nice warm 74 degrees!! AAAaahhhhhh!! I'm Home!

The kids and I started our Downy Quilts for Kids!! Here are some pictures of us working! They are doing great!! Next comes some cutting!!?!?!?! Pray for me! After I cut part of my finger off.. I'm a little nervous about showing them how to cut!! Maybe they will just watch this part!
"Why do we have to iron the fabric BEFORE and AFTER we sew it??"

Look... I let them use the Pfaff! It has a built in guide so their seams were perfect everytime!!

Showing Stephen how to seam rip!! He was not happy about having to rip out what he had just sewn!!
I am the luckiest Woman in the WORLD!! God has blessed me with a wonderful Family!!

My Round Robin Blocks!!

I have been working on a round robin with CafeMom!!
It is so much fun. 4 different women make 4 different center blocks and then you send them to each other to add borders. I have really enjoyed this. I wonder what mine will turn out to look like?!?

Here are two of the one's I have worked on so far... I can't find the pic's for the other one!
I'm so excited!! This is a picture that Alyssa took of me while we were bowling!! She told me make the "excited face"!! Did I do that?
