What did you do on the 4th?? Part 1

We spent time with AMARA!!
She is soooo GREAT!

Stephen and Amara are only 7 months apart in age. They are so cute.
To me they look so much alike.

We were rocking out in the car....Amara had to catch it all on video.

Sissy, Amara, & I all got our faces painted!
YIPPY!

Stephen enjoyed an icy! Do you like the blue mouth??

Mount Dora is such a great town to live in.

Alyssa got an American Flag painted!

They had a dance area...Can you spot Chris and his kids dancing??

My kids even joined in the action!!

Chris' Twins are so adorable!

We saw these guys break dancing...

Look at them flipping!

Sissy is so cute!

The National Guard Band played at the waterfront. They were really good.

We even saw Lisa & Ronnie!!

She was working on one of her embroidery blocks.

Ronnie is so silly!

Lisa's Dad & M-I-L (not pictured) were there to watch the fireworks!

This lake is so pretty.

Waiting for the fireworks was so beautiful to watch.

The kiddo's took off for awhile to see their friends, but then we all watched the fireworks together!
To Be continued...

What's Up with Me!

I made some more rag tops!!

I decided to try and add some more "BOY" Quilts!

Here it is finished.
Amara & Alyssa cute all of my rag tops so now they are all 100% done!

I also quilted two quilts! They both look like this pictured top.

Now I don't have any pinned tops.
I need to pin a few more of my quilt tops now that I have my pins taken out of these!
Here is a quilt that I have on my design wall!
Amara picked the layout.
I bought 17 half-square triangles at the fabric sale.
I found a few fabrics to add and made this!

Now all I have to do is sew all of the blocks!

I hope everyone is having a great week so far!

Easter Weekend

Alyssa was able to get out of the house a little.
She did not get very far though...

Sissy and Amara hung out with Jackson in the backyard!

Then they colored eggs!

This year was the first time that all I did was boil the eggs and give Alyssa the supplies. She did the rest!

It was cute watching them work.

Thankfully they did all of this outside on the porch!

They colored on the eggs with crayons before they dyed them!

I like the way the eggs turned out!

They ate most of them and only left us 4!
LOL
Maybe next year I will have them dye more than 8 eggs!
Silly girls!
I was too busy to do any decorating for Easter, so the window clings will have to do!
:)

I pray that you have a BLESSED, SAFE, & HAPPY EASTER!!
Hopefully, Detto will be home next year! The Army can't possibly need you EVERY holiday!
LOL
We miss you Detto!

Hugs,
Lisa
