The Trip Home

Well.. Going home was, well.... Interesting!

Aviano was beautiful...

Saying goodbye was hard...

I sure will miss everyone...

We ended up in Maryland!

We took the long way home. We had to take a flight to Florida in order to rent a car to get my car in South Carolina.

It was a long trip home, but it was great getting home.

And now its GREAT being home!

I loved the Views!

I loved being there...

I am sooo blessed to have been given the chance to go to Italy! I loved every minute of it!

The Motorcycle Festival was even good...

Even if there were less than 20 bikes...

Sam really liked the Vespa!

 I will miss the mountains.

I will miss the valleys.

Thanks Angela & Samantha for letting me stay with you and for showing me around Italy!

I enjoyed every minute of it!

Bowling with Anaia & Samantha

Right before we left Italy we decided to go Bowling with Samantha & Anaia. It sure was Hillarious watching Anaia!!

Isn't that face just precious?

Anaia was facinated by the bowling balls. She kept trying to pick them up!

I loved when she said to Sam, "I hold it. I do! I try. Please..."

I dont know how Sam kept a straight face. It was sooo cute!

 She  loved pushing the ball down...

 and picking the ball up...

We had a BLAST!!

I even did a little dance which earned me a STRIKE!!

And then another strike...

and then a spare!!

We were SHOCKED!! I was just playing around joking that my dance would help me win the game and then....

We miss them ALREADY!!

Mushroom Festival In Maniago, Italy

We went and checked out the 35th Annual Mushroom Festival in Maniago

I had never seen poisonous mushrooms before!

This one grew between these rocks!

I knew there were different kinds, but these blew my mind!

They also had a plant show there.

They were showing TONS of different types of plants...

This is an Olive tree that they have made into a bonsai tree.

I love how they put all of the different plants in WINE bottles! Isn't that sooo Italian??

We had this vine growing near our home when I was a kid.

Don't they look like they are having a blast?? hee hee hee

Overall it was very cool. Even though it was hard to read the names, because they were ALL IN ITALIAN, so we guessed what they were!

Something else that I found interesting was that they weren't selling any plants, just showing you what they had! In America it would have been a FESTIVAL... AKA food, drink, shirts, plants, etc. FOR SALE!

But in Italy it was more Informational!!

I enjoyed it!

My Birthday in VENICE aka Venezia!! Part 1

 I celebrated my birthday while we were in Italy! I just realized that I didn't blog about it yet....

I was blessed to be able to spend my birthday in Venice!

We went to the Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venezia and I got in FREE because it was my BIRTHDAY!! Yippy! Here is some of what we saw...

These paintings were too amazing for me to not share them! I will have to divide this into two different posts. There are too many that I cant leave out!
