Hawaii ~ Part 1

On the way to the hotel from the airport

I can't believe that we saw a fabric store! 

We couldn't stop the bus, but I was thrilled to see a fabric store!

There were lots of sculptures in the town.

The hotels here were so pretty!

The governement builtings were pretty, but the landscaping was amazing. The plants were so huge!

By the time we got to the hotel, checked in, got settled in, and ate dinner it was so dark that we couldn't really see anything.

The first morning that we woke up in Hawaii we went to the beach.

I wanted to see the sunrise, but we were on the wrong side of the island... and on the wrong coast.

Here it is...Diamond Head!

Even though the sun was just rising, there were already surfers ready for the waves.

The ocean seemed so still that it seemed that these surfers were in the wrong spot, but they knew something that I didn't!

Diamond Head is so pretty!

We saw some type of cerimony on the beach.

It was so pretty out!

And the hotel was amazing!

We are staying at the Royal Hawaiian!

Hawaii is my kind of place!
