Presidential Palace ~ Mexico City ~Site seeing!

We went to the Presidential Palace and were able to learn more about the history of their capital city. 



The artwork and display of their history was amazing.

His art told the history of the country.


It was very sad, but also very strong.

These paintings were several stories tall.

The Church, Mexico City ~ Part 2

The church here was mind blowing! 

This was all real gold! 


I was amazed at the details in the statues. 

Here's some pictures of the service they were holding while we visited.

This place was so beautiful!! 
They had some amazing artwork and statues. 





Back outside!

We went around the corner to see where they had just uncovered some old pyramids. 

They built the church over a pyramid that had been used for human sacrifices. Yikes.

After we finished here we headed over to the Presidential Palace.
